Custom ABS, PP, PMMA, PC and PET Extruded Profiles for OEM Cabinets

  • Custom extruded profiles in ABS, PP, PMMA (acrylic), PC, and PET — not a stock window PVC list
  • New die from your DXF or a reverse-cut from a sample stick
  • For cooler and vending doors, LED covers, glazing beads, slides, guards, and interior trims
  • Material picked for the job: impact, chemical, UV, clarity, or heat
  • Cut-to-length, drilled, printed, or joined to gaskets and aluminum
  • First-article bar + resin cert, then batch
  • OEM / ODM: color, texture, flame rating, food-contact or indoor-commercial grade

Custom engineering-plastic profiles, extruded to your section

This line is made-to-die engineering plastic, not a catalog of white uPVC window stick. We extrude ABS, PP, PMMA, PC, and PET profiles for commercial cabinets, glass doors, lighting, and interior fittings. You send a cross-section or a sample metre. We cut a die, run a first-article bar in the resin you specified, then lock color and tolerance for the production lot. If the part is a cooler-door PVC frame or a dual-durometer gasket, that belongs under co-extruded PVC profiles. This category is the five engineering resins — when PVC is the wrong plastic.

OEM buyers searching for custom ABS extrusion, PMMA light covers, PC guards, PP chemical trims, or PET profiles use this page when the glass and metal are already tooled and the plastic must match a rebate, a LED channel, or a food-zone rule. We also hang full insulated door assemblies; order profiles here when you assemble in-house.

Which resin, and why it is not interchangeable

ABS. Tough, easy to glue and paint, stable for interior door skins, bezels, and payment-column covers. Poor outdoors unless UV-stabilized. Good first choice for smart-vendor cosmetics.

PP (polypropylene). Chemical and moisture resistant, living-hinge capable, lighter. Use for drip trays, chemical-splash guards, and parts that see cleaners. Harder to solvent-bond than ABS; say so if you need welded joints.

PMMA (acrylic). Optical clarity and UV weatherability for LED diffusers, light pipes, and display edges. More brittle than PC. Specify extra-clear, opal, or tinted; scratch-care is part of the packing note.

PC (polycarbonate). High impact, higher heat, can be made UV-stable. Machine guards, vandal-prone covers, and cold-box parts that cannot shatter like acrylic. Flame rating (e.g. UL 94) must be on the PO if the cabinet is listed.

PET / PETG. Clear or opaque, good chemical and forming behavior, often chosen for food-adjacent trims and tough clear beads. Confirm PET vs PETG; they do not run on the same dry-and-heat recipe.

These are engineering plastics, not commodity film. Co-extrusion is available (clear PMMA cap on ABS, soft lip on a rigid spine) when one resin cannot do both jobs. See also profile extrusion: the die and the calibrator own the section; we will not “print” a hollow chamber that the melt cannot fill.

Custom production — what we freeze on the PO

Section. DXF of the profile or a 300 mm sample to reverse-cut. Walls, snaps, screw ports, LED grooves, and gasket pockets must be on that file.

Resin. ABS / PP / PMMA / PC / PET (or PETG); virgin or approved regrind; color (RAL / Pantone / sample chip); UV, impact, or flame package; food-contact statement if required.

Delivery form. Straight bars cut to length, coils only if the section allows, drilled or punched holes, protective film on clear PMMA/PC, optional print or hot-stamp.

Process. Section check → die → dry and trial (PC/PET/PMMA are moisture-critical) → first-article bars → your fit test → production. Die cost and MOQ follow the section and the resin. Swapping ABS to PC on an existing die is a paid trial, not a free material change.

Where the profiles go

Vending and cooler interior trims, LED diffuser covers on glass doors, glazing beads that are not PVC, slide and guide rails, kick and bumper strips, payment-column bezels, splash guards, and display risers. Indoor commercial is default. Outdoor or sun-facing parts need UV-PC or UV-PMMA named on the RFQ.

Send the section DXF or a sample stick, resin choice, color, annual metres, and indoor/outdoor duty to the extrusion desk. We will reply with a die plan, a resin note, and a first-article date.

How to write the custom PO

State: custom engineering plastic profile; resin (ABS / PP / PMMA / PC / PET); section file name; color; cut length; quantity in metres; any UV or flame rating. Attach the DXF. Do not write only the category name. Do not specify “PVC-like” when you need PC impact or PMMA optics.

Questions OEM buyers ask

ABS or PC for a vendor bezel?

ABS for indoor, painted, or glued cosmetics. PC if the part can be hit or sits near a warmer electrical stack. We will not silently substitute.

PMMA or PC for a light cover?

PMMA for the clearest, most UV-stable diffuser. PC if vandal or cold-impact matters more than perfect optics.

Can you co-extrude two resins?

Often yes — clear cap on color core, or a flexible lip on a rigid spine — after a bond trial. Name both resins on the RFQ.

New die lead time?

Simple solids faster; multi-chamber and optical dies longer. First-article metres are paid. Color-critical clears need a signed chip.

Do you only extrude, or also machine?

Cut, drill, and light CNC on the bar are available so the part lands on your door line ready to clip in.
